Terms and Conditions

Effective: 7 May 2026 · Last updated: 7 May 2026

These terms govern your use of Be My Guest (the "Service"), operated by Be My Guest B.V. ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service you agree to these terms.

1. Who we are

  • Company: Be My Guest B.V.
  • Chamber of Commerce (KvK): 93859449
  • Address: Marnixstraat 94-1, 1015 VZ Amsterdam, the Netherlands
  • Contact: [email protected]

2. Eligibility

You may use the Service if you:

  • are at least 16 years old,
  • have legal capacity to agree to these terms, and
  • comply with applicable laws and regulations.

3. Account

You can create an account with email, Apple, or Google. You are responsible for the security of your account and for any activity under your credentials. You can delete your account at any time via Profile → Settings or by emailing the address above.

4. What you may not do

You may not:

  • break the law or violate intellectual-property rights,
  • post harmful, illegal, or unlawful content,
  • use bots or scrapers without our permission,
  • harass or impersonate other users,
  • collect personal data of other users,
  • reverse-engineer the Service.

5. User content

You retain ownership of the content you post (lists, reviews, notes). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and use that content to provide and promote the Service. We may moderate or remove content that breaches these terms.

6. The Service

We may change the Service, add or remove features, and discontinue (parts of) it. Temporary unavailability (e.g. for maintenance) is possible.

7. Information about restaurants and food trucks

Important — read this if you have an allergy or dietary requirement.

We do our best, but we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of information about restaurants and food trucks. This includes:

  • names, locations, and opening hours,
  • prices and menus,
  • dietary claims (vegetarian, vegan, halal, gluten-free, allergen-free).

Always verify dietary and allergy information directly with the venue before ordering or eating. We accept no liability for allergic reactions, illness, disappointment, or other harm arising from reliance on information on the Service.

Venue claims (e.g. "100% gluten-free kitchen") are passed on in good faith without independent verification. Spotted a mistake? Email [email protected].

8. Rolling Kitchens content

Important — read this if you're here for the festival.

8.1 Independent guide

Be My Guest is an independent guide. We have no affiliation, sponsorship, or commercial relationship with Stichting Rollende Keukens or its official partners. The names "Rollende Keukens" and "Het Weekend van de Rollende Keukens" are used solely descriptively to refer to the festival. We do not use logos or trademarks belonging to the festival or its organisers.

8.2 No revenue from RK content

We receive no payment for including, ranking, or recommending food trucks that appear at Rollende Keukens. RK content is not paid advertising. No food truck, partner, or sponsor has paid us to be featured in the guide or to be ranked higher within it.

8.3 Free until 15 May 2026 inclusive

Access to RK content on the Service is free up to and including 15 May 2026. After that date we may archive, remove, or place RK content behind account access or a subscription. Any future paid model does not affect the free access during the festival period.

8.4 Festival rules

The official rules and announcements of Stichting Rollende Keukens take precedence over our guide for matters relating to the festival site itself (opening hours, locations, on-site payment methods, and so on).

8.5 Removal or correction requests

Stichting Rollende Keukens, partners, or food trucks may request removal or correction of content via [email protected].

The disclaimer in Section 7 applies in full to all RK content.

9. Future paid model

The Service is currently free. A (partly) paid subscription model may be introduced in the future. We will notify you at least 30 days in advance via email or an in-app notice. You can cancel at any time. Consumer rights under Dutch and EU law (right of withdrawal, refund) continue to apply.

RK content remains free up to and including 15 May 2026 regardless (see Section 8.3).

10. Intellectual property

The name "Be My Guest", our logo, and all content we author on the Service are owned by Be My Guest B.V. or our licensors. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership or rights in those elements to you.

"Rollende Keukens" and "Het Weekend van de Rollende Keukens" are owned by Stichting Rollende Keukens and are used solely descriptively (see Section 8.1).

11. Liability

The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • indirect or consequential damages or lost profits,
  • allergic reactions or illness from food at restaurants or food trucks,
  • the conduct of food trucks, operators, or other users,
  • changes, closures, or incidents at the festival site caused by Stichting Rollende Keukens or third parties.

Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months, or €50, whichever is higher. This limitation does not apply to fraud, intent, or gross negligence on our part; for those there is no cap.

12. Communications

We send you essential service emails (account confirmation, password reset, important updates) without prior opt-in — they are part of the account. Marketing emails are sent only after explicit opt-in and you can unsubscribe at any time.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access in case of serious or repeated breach of these terms, fraud, or if we discontinue the Service (in whole or part).

14. Changes

Material changes to these terms are communicated at least 30 days in advance via email or a prominent in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new version.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's ODR platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
